Starplace on 5th Avenue - General Information
The Flavor of Italy in the Heart of Old Naples StarPlace is modeled after an Italian “osteria,” a traditional eatery offering pizza, pasta, sandwiches, dessert and gelato, or Italian ice cream. As in an osteria, patrons place their order at a service counter, and then choose a seat inside or in the shaded courtyard. Patrons may choose from traditional Italian-style pizzas with a variety of fresh toppings, or imported delicatessen meats and cheeses such as Italian capicolla, ssopressata, prosciutto, and mortadella. All sandwich breads and rolls are baked fresh daily and accompany a variety of hearty signature sandwiches, salads and traditional Old World pastas. Desserts include European baked goods and pastries. Beverage offerings include shakes and smoothies, as well as a variety of beer and wine, including Vergina’s private label wines.
There is an Italian tradition at StarPlace, one you can feel, enjoy and most importantly taste. Please bring your appetite and we’ll keep the ovens hot, the pastry cases filled and the gelato creamy and cold.
